UDAIPUR BY BUS
| Udaipur is connected by an efficient bus service with most
Rajasthani towns including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Mount Abu, etc.
A wide network of bus services link Udaipur with several destinations. There
is Rajasthan Roadway Deluxe, Super deluxe and AC buses as well as private
travels also available from the major cities. Buses also head south to
Ahmedabad with connections to Bombay but it is not a short journey. There
are comfortable sleeper coaches available to most distant places, though.
You can take advantage as you wish, as bus journey is time consuming but you
will explore a new world through it as it will take you vary close to Indian

UDAIPUR BY TRAIN
Udaipur is on the Western Railway network. The Railway Station is about 4 Km. from the city centre. Train service has improved over the last few years after Udaipur was converted to broad gauge railway line. There are now daily trains from New Delhi and Jaipur. If you come from Mumbai you need to change in Ahmedabad, where the train leaves in the evening for Udaipur. Udaipur is directly linked by rail with major cities. Udaipur is directly connected by rail with Delhi, Jaipur, Ajmer, Chittaur, Jodhpur and Ahmedabad
UDAIPUR BY AIRWAYS
Udaipur has a small airport called Maharana Pratap Singh Airport, after the legendary medieval Rajput King. It is possible to fly in from Jaisalmer. Jet airways have a daily flight to Udaipur from both Delhi-Jaipur and Bombay. Dabok Airport is 24 Km from the city centre. Daily Indian Airlines flights connect Udaipur with Jodhpur, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Delhi. Indian Airlines also operates daily flights between Udaipur and major cities like Jaipur and Mumbai. In the very near future, budget airline Air Deccan plans to include Udaipur in its list of destinations.
